Operations software for restaurants
Qubx turns opening, closing, food-safety and maintenance into daily checklists your team completes from a phone, with photo and temperature proof, manager approvals, and one dashboard across every location.
The truth about running a restaurant
Fridge checked. Grill off. Floor mopped. Counted, photographed, signed. Keep scrolling to see how Qubx keeps every one of them.
Every location wakes up to its own checklists, generated for the day in its own time zone. Nobody prints anything.
Photos from the phone camera. Temperatures with an accepted range. A reading out of range fails loudly, alerts the manager, and opens a recheck.
Managers sign off from the pass or from the couch. Overdue work climbs the ladder on its own: store, then district, then HQ.
One dashboard, every door. The number that matters before your first coffee: what is not done today, and where.
Checklists, tasks, approvals, schedules and reports in one place, in English and Spanish, built for people with wet hands and eleven seconds.
The platform
Checklists are recurring and location-bound. Tasks are one-off or scheduled jobs with owners and due dates. Qubx keeps them apart on purpose, so nobody hunts for the fryer deep clean inside Tuesday's opening list.
Define an item once with its times of day. Qubx generates each location's copy every day in its own time zone, locks it at close, and marks anything late, failed, or skipped with a reason.

Required items wait for a manager. Reject reopens the item with notes. Untouched approvals escalate up the chain on a timer.
Fryer oil quality
Pending approvalAssign to a person, a role, a store, or a whole district. One task becomes a copy per store with a roster, a rollup, and a nudge for the stragglers. Unowned work waits in a claim queue.

Drag shifts onto a weekly grid with hour and dollar caps, submit for approval, and publish a link your team opens without signing in. Clock in and out from the same app, then compare scheduled to actual.

Bell, email, push and SMS, each with a deep link to the exact checklist or task. Digests for the calm stuff, immediate for the fridge.
Not done today, then everything else: late, failed, skipped, pending. Filter by district, store, or category. Export CSV and PDF or schedule the report.
Each person picks English or Spanish. Task comments translate both ways, so a cook and a manager can read the same thread in their own words.
Luis: Ya cambié el aceite de la freidora 2.
Translated: I already changed the oil in fryer 2.
Send a memo to every store and see who signed it. The shift logbook keeps the handoff notes that used to live on a sticky note.
A shared tablet on the line stays signed in. A public board on a screen shows the whole kitchen what is due next.
Recipes, SOPs, training videos, linked straight from the checklist item that needs them. Version history on every file.
Owner, admin, HQ, district manager, store manager, and floor roles, each with one job. Scope any of them to a region, district, store or label. Employees complete; managers approve; admins edit templates. Nobody deletes history.
Conditional items that only appear when needed. Verification types (photo, signature, numeric, rating). A corrective actions center. Store scores, grades and streaks. Excel import of the checklists you already run. A morning report card in every inbox.
A day on Qubx

Marco logs the reading on the wall tablet. It is out of range, so the item fails, the store manager gets a push and a text, a corrective note is required, and a recheck appears for 7:14 AM. Nobody had to remember any of that.
The morning report card lands in Dana's inbox: 7 not done across 12 locations, one failed temperature at Leonardtown already rechecked and passed. She opens the dashboard for the photo, and moves on with her day.
Four items are waiting for a manager's sign-off across three stores. Priya swipes through the photos, approves three, and rejects the fryer oil with a note. The item reopens for redo on the line within seconds.
The closing list is done, late by six minutes, and marked that way. The checklist locks at local midnight. Tomorrow's copy is already generated. The audit log has every tap, forever.

Restaurants first. Every screen was designed for someone with 11 seconds and a wet hand: big tap targets, photo proof from the phone camera, temperature checks that fail loudly, and a wall board the whole kitchen can read. It also runs wireless retail and other multi-location stores, but the floor came first.
